Knee Treatment Journey: Final Two Treatments & a Major Milestone

My wife, Nicole and I after the 5k

I recently wrapped up my final two knee treatments, and it feels like the right time to look back at the entire process — especially because of what happened between treatments four and five.

Between those visits, I was at Disney. Not only did I walk the parks every day… I also completed a 5K, a 10K, and nearly 6 miles of the half marathon on back-to-back-to-back days.

Four months ago, there was no chance I could have done that — let alone without needing days of recovery afterward. My knees were put to the test down there, and they handled it far better than I expected.

The Final Two Treatments

The last two appointments were the simplest of the series: a blood draw and reinjection, paired with the Class IV laser therapy used at every visit.

Class IV Laser Therapy

Each treatment starts with a deep-tissue Class IV laser designed to:

  • Decrease inflammation

  • Increase blood circulation

  • Relax surrounding soft tissues

By promoting rapid cellular recovery, this laser accelerates healing, making it ideal for pain relief and enhanced tissue repair.

Treatment Breakdown

Here’s a recap of all five treatments and what each one accomplished:

1. Laser + PRP

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) reduces inflammation and acts as a cell-to-cell “signaler,” basically the captain telling cells where to go and how to communicate.

2. Laser + A2M

A2M (Alpha-2-Macroglobulin) is a protease inhibitor.

Proteases are enzymes that break down cartilage and soft tissue.

A2M helps protect the treatment area and prevent further breakdown.

3. Laser + BMAC

BMAC is an autologous (your own) stem cell source.

These cells create an environment that promotes natural, rapid healing and encourages new tissue growth.

4. Laser + Concentrated PRP (CPRP)

CPRP contains 5–10× more platelets than standard PRP.

This higher concentration of growth factors and cytokines makes it more potent, allowing it to target deeper, more advanced healing.

5. Laser + PRP (Final Treatment)

This final appointment mirrored the first treatment — but by now, my knees were dramatically improved.

The Results

After completing all five treatments:

  • My knees feel about 95% better than when I started.

  • I can squat and stand up without pain.

  • I can jog without pain for the first time in a long time.

  • I can walk all day without needing days of recovery afterward.

  • The procedures were fast and efficient. Any pain was mostly from the injection site, not the knees themselves.

I also now have a physical therapy plan to continue strengthening my legs, knees, and hips — which should make things even better.

Final Thoughts

I would highly recommend QC Kinetix for joint pain.

They may not be able to help everyone, but based on my experience, I’d absolutely encourage anyone struggling with chronic pain to give them a chance.

For me, the process has been fast, effective, and genuinely life-changing.
